LS#072- From Hat-Wearing Photojournalist to Hat-Making Entrepreneur: Laura Grier

Laura Grier, known as the “Indiana Jones of Adventure Travel Photography,” has been a photojournalist for the past 19 years exploring the world and documenting her findings on all seven continents. 

Her most notable work has been shooting for Novica, National Geographic’s catalog that represents global artisans practicing “Vanishing Arts.” This work has led Laura to her newest adventure, becoming an entrepreneur. She is the Co-founder of Andeana Hats, a hat company on a mission to empower women and help global artisans continue their cultural traditions; enabling them to support themselves and lead their communities out of poverty.
