Q & A
IF YOU COULD JUMP INTO A MOVIE, WHAT MOVIE WORLD WOULD YOU VISIT?
Rather than a movie, I wish I could jump into an era or a book like Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises. I would live among the modernists in Paris in the mid to late 1920s and hang out with Gertrude Stein, Picasso, Fitzgerald, and Henry Moore.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE APPS/TOOLS/RESOURCES?
Couldn't live without Slack. I also like Monday.com to organize and track my To Do Lists. My greatest discovery this year was the App Canva which allows me to make sweet, social graphics for Instagram and Facebook.
WHAT DOES BEING LIBERATED MEAN TO YOU?
To me being liberated means freeing women, people, from the self-imposed constraints of familial and societal expectations —to inspire women to color outside the lines, to understand that rules are merely guidelines, and to give zero fucks about what others think about you. We are on this earth for a limited time. There is NOTHING wrong with exploring, making mistakes, and doing what we want. It’s not selfish. It’s not irresponsible. It’s human and it’s our right. Men understand this intrinsically. It’s about time we do too. This is freedom. This is liberty. Liberate yourself FROM yourself FOR yourself. No guilt.
