When did you know you wanted to pursue your business or venture? I knew I wanted to pursue my own business when I woke up dreading doing what I was doing. I looked at what I was spending most of my time thinking about and focused that on turning my dreams into a business.

Did your original business plan change along the way or are you doing exactly what you set out to do? If it changed, how so? It has absolutely changed and continues to evolve. I have trusted myself more and that confidence has simplified my business overall.

What makes you different from your competition? I connect with each of my clients and their relationship with food. I style food choices based on those relationships. This is a powerful way to create a thriving and satisfying life for my clients.

Tell us about a time when you thought you should throw in the towel. What kept you going? When I was growing my business and it was crawling instead of running, there were days I asked myself if I had made the right choice and if this was something I should be doing. What kept me going was a tool that I learned which is actually answering the questions in my head. It is critical that you respond to that inner voice in your head and build a solid foundation with your truth. When you feel like quitting, remember why you started in the first place.

What three factors have most contributed to your success in business and in life? 1: Christine Rubadou – she is my coach and my guide. 2: Putting my all into my business! 3: Trusting that passion can absolutely equal a paycheck.

If you could have a one-on-one meeting with any woman, who would it be and why? What’s the first thing you would you ask her? JJ Virgin because she is running a successful nutrition business. I would ask her “How did you get to where you are now?”

I wish someone had told me… Detach yourself from assuming what will happen in the future. It could arrive differently and even better than you planned or thought it would.
