What advice would you give to someone who feels overwhelmed by the competition? If you’re overwhelmed by the competition, take that time and energy that you’re focusing on comparing yourself to others and give it all to your own business.

What top three tips would you like to pass along for those who have just started to use social media? If you’re not an expert, hire one. Reach out to people and sites with big online presences and make them aware of your social media platforms. It’s OK to accept others in your field and show appreciation for their great ideas.

When you think of the best people to work with, what traits do they share? They believe that everything is possible, they take action, and they have patience.

Give a budding entrepreneur your best hiring and firing business practices: When hiring, look to hire like-minded people. When firing, do it with gratitude. There is always something to learn from every person and every experience.

Entrepreneurs often say that “you can’t do it all.” What three things do you always outsource? Public Relations, website updating, and branding.

What business book would you recommend to someone who is either about to launch or in the early growth stage? Do You Matter by Robert Brunner and Stewart Emery.

What are your thoughts on raising capital? Always see the value of investing your own money in your business before asking others to do so.

What piece of invaluable advice did you receive that you would like to pass on to women pursuing their dream? Let go of the how and focus on the why.

My best advice to a woman launching a venture is… Let go of fear and take the risk!

What would your advice to your younger self be? Relax and stay present. Life will only expand in proportion to the courage you have to live it.

  1. Have an intention and keep track of your daily progress.
  2. Invest in yourself.
  3. Remember that everything takes time to grow.
  4. Trust yourself.
